On 16 December 2020, EDP organised a NEW R&D Session entitled Ocean Energy... bound to set sail? Indeed, ocean energy is a source of clean, safe and nearly endless energy that still remains largely untapped. In its diverse forms – wave, tidal, current, gradients – oceans hold a tremendous energy potential worth exploring and developing.
Two H2020 projects were in the spotlight for this webinar: SeaTitan and DTOceanPlus. DTOceanPlus was presented by Inês Marques who is Customer Experience & Engagement Manager at EDP. In the second part of this R&D Session, four panelists were invited to contribute to the debate, give their expert opinion and their feedback. Pablo Ruiz-Minguela from Tecnalia was invited as DTOceanPlus project coordinator.
