During EWTEC 2019, DTOceanPlus project has been honoured several times:
- On 3 September, Jochen Weber from NREL talked about the project during a side event called Wave-SPARC: Structured Innovation Experience;
- On 4 September, Tianna Bloise Thomaz from Tecnalia gave a talk on capability assessment of DTOcean array design tool for ocean energy;
- On 4 September, Vincenzo Nava and Pablo Ruiz-Minguela from Tecnalia and Jonathan Hodges from Wave Energy Scotland presented work carried out as part of the DTOceanPlus project during the session entitled "Economical, social, legal and political aspects of ocean energy". Their talk was about a novel framework for the digital representation of physical and functional characteristics of ocean energy systems.
